Yes there are. You can call in also for further options.
This is a regular stop when in Brattleboro. The food is excellent and staff are always helpful and friendly. I love the view of the railroad tracks (a train went by the last time we were there), river, and mountain. Comfortable and clean.
Comfortable atmosphere, friendly interactive staff, and displayed local art. Great location for WiFi use with a scenic view of the river.
Good food cute staff (especially the Baker with the piercings rawr;)) but that viiiiieeeeewwww thhhoooo!!!! It's so lit! hit up the void to get some supplies. No magic brownies though. If you get the munchies i highly recommend it pun fully intended. Sincerely the peirced baker
When in Brattleboro Amy’s is my morning go to place. Sitting in the back enjoying the CT River an occasional train with great food and coffee.
Delicious food and great views over the Connecticut river
Delicious coffee and coffee drinks. Soy milk available. Windows by seating provides great views. Also known for great bread.
Soup? Sammich? AMAZING cakes? Bread, cookies and other baked goodies? All here, plus a great view of the river or people watch on the front side.
I love everything I have tasted!
Homemade baked goods, soups and sandwiches. A favorite for locals and tourists alike. If there is a line, be patient, it moves quickly and is worth the wait. In a pinch for time and or money? Try the 75 cent organic hard-boiled eggs!
What a treat! Clean, friendly, fast and fairly priced. Our meal was yummy and the bread was so delicious that we bought extra sourdough roles to bring home from vacation. The dining room has a great view, it could use a refresh (sweep the cobwebs and perhaps a fresh coat of paint). We will definitely be back, Amy's is a treasure.
The sandwiches are incredible. Always a stop on our way to Lake Champlain. Our kids would rebel if we didn't! And the cookies.....😊
The staff is friendly, the food is excellent and they serve it in good time. I often buy their bread and it has a lot of flavor.
Totally forgot about this gem until I was scanning the map for places to review to rank up in google world. Let's just put it this way, if Google stars were akin to Michelin stars then this place would be worth a special trip. And I live in DC.
Amy's delights me every time. From their sandwich to their soup selection, their baked goods and breads, to the great dining room with the sweeping landscape view, and the friendly crew, every visit is a treat.
Great food in a great location in downtown Brattleboro. The back seating area has views of the river making it a very pleasant place to have a relaxed lunch.
So delicious! Easy to change orders to what you like
Amazing!!
Walk through to the perfectly located tables looking out over the river and hills. Good coffee and buttery croissants and other yummy home baked goods. Great spot for a light breakfast or lunch.
Went for significant order to be picked up. Desserts were great, service was lacking.
Nobody cleans tables. There was food on floor in dining area that had been there quite some time.It is very dirty ceiling fan nasty dirty and lights full of cob webs.I don't know that I'll go back. The food is really good but overall it's pretty dirty in there.
I make a point to be sure to stop in and grab a meal and enjoy the wonderful views of the Connecticut River anytime I am in the area. Even with no views I would stop by this hidden gem. Friendly staff and absolutely delicious soup sandwiches and baked goods!
Disappointing, pictures on their website showed full cases of beautiful pastries, when we walked thru the door it was dirty, no pastries, no place I'd like to eat at
Great sandwiches and soups. Something for everyone
Great cafe for lunch and delicious coffee bar! We had the hummus sandwich and the goat cheese salad- I’m super impressed- this place is a gem!
Delicious sweets and an absolutely beautiful view of fall foliage and nearby river. Lots of small tables--ideal for one or two people. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Great spot to spend an afternoon reading.
The service was great and the food was good. My main complaint was the dining area to the rear was filthy. There was inches of dust and crud on the air conditioner and the lighting fixtures. The walls were filthy and the ceilings had cobwebs everywhere with insects caught in them. It was pretty clear this room had not been cleaned all summer. I felt dirty when I left
I recently went through a separation and my parents came down to visit and they brought me two DELICIOUS homemade soups from Amy's; Ginger Sweet Potato and Chicken Barely - the taste of ginger combined with the sweets was absolutely scrumptious and it was the best soul food I've ever had and the Chicken Barely was loaded with vegetables and slices of tender chicken that stuck to my bones and instantly made me feel stronger. Thanks Amy's.
The lunch and baked goods are always great here!
They said I couldnt plow dim waitresss
Edited: After posting a review about an unfortunate birthday cake experience at Amy's, I received a personal call from Amy herself, who was very apologetic. It turned out there had been a mix up and we were given the wrong birthday cake, and the email had a typo in it on their FB page (this has now been fixed) which explained the communication issues. She very kindly gave us a full refund, as well as buying us lunch. She also promised to improve their communication so that this doesn't happen again. Side note: The sandwiches, cookies and drinks we had when we came in for the refund were freaking delicious.
It's never a good idea for a bakery to sell old, dry cake. They don't go to much effort to keep it fresh. Better to stick with the almond croissants, which are gone by 10am.
A fresh croissant 🥐, right out of the oven when Amy's opens at 8am, is the best pastry on this side of the Atlantic. Recently has been a bit more hit or miss, but the hits still outnumber the misses.
Love Amy's Bakery! They have wonderful soup, sandwiches, baked goods, and warm beverages.
Check if a table is available (and claim it) before ordering "to stay". Food is great. The cooks who call your name when your food is ready are a looooong way from the tables and nobody can hear it, you have to go back and stand there at about the right time. When you get your sandwich, soup or baked stuff you will find that the ritual is worth it. Great food, great view of the river, and sometimes great art (like today). I can't even tell you what the prices are, I think they are reasonable, but I have never had a disappointing experience there.
The food and coffee is consistently good, service is quick and the wait is rarely long.
Good food
Great views. Friendly staff. Calming atmosphere
There is no word for how good the food is there, and some times just a coffee with a friend is nice.
The chocolate and almond croissants are both amazing!!!!
Amy’s is one of the first spots I bring friends when showing them around brattleboro! The meals are delicious, the pastries are always fresh, and their homemade bread is a weekly must. The dining room overlooks the river and is an idyllic place for a quick lunch. Staff are always friendly. 10/10!
The perfect place to get a quick, quality lunch from a friendly staff. The dining area has a great view of the river and there is always art on exhibit. Excellent breads and pastries.
Nice selection of cookies and pastries. A few tables in the back.
Best double espresso and double chocolate cookie. A sumptuous treat! Lovely view and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Nice place for a cup of coffee with a superb chocolate cake.
The only place that makes decent espresso in Brattleboro. Sit in back for a great view of the river. Great sandwiches. Lovely pastries, and HUGE slices of cake.
Excellent brownie. Big enough and rich enough to share for 2. The carrot cake is quite good if you are a nut lover. Coffee was bold.
Best coffee in town... no question. Wonderful menu... from the pastries and the coconut macaroons (my favorite) and the amazing salads (love the Cobb and a different take on dill blue cheese dressing). Seating in the back has a wonderful view... great for relaxing and enjoying a good book along with the wonderful food and coffee.
Great food, service and view
Amy's is a great place to tuck away for a hot beverage or tasty meal and have a good read or a cozy chat with a friend or three. Gluten-free and vegan options are available. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of long wait times, given the understandable popularity of this spot.
Nice cozy cafe overlooking the Connecticut River. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. High quality sandwiches and pastries.
